Applications should be sent by e-mail to amplicochess@gmail.com no later than December, 1, 2010. The application must contain the player’s name, rating, birthdate, club.

Entry fee and payment for hotel (for players using the organiser's hotel) must be paid until December 1, 2010. Payments can be made:

The organizer reserves the right to verify the data given in the applications by unrated players.



For late applications (after December, 1, 2010, both for Polish and foreign players)

The entry fees are doubled.

They can be paid by bank transfer (see previous point) not later than December, 10, 2010 or in the Foundation office on the 16th of December from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. or in the playing hall on the 17th of December from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

1. On the website a list of players who have paid the entry fee and a hotel reservation list will be updated. In case of problems please contact the organisers by e-mail to amplicochess@gmail.com

2. Late entries will be accepted if there are vacancies. The Organizer reserves the right to admit such players from Round 2.

The list of participants will be published on the website www.poloniachess.pl/amplico2010. Participation of any player present on the list is thereby confirmed. Such a player may arrive directly for Round 1, provided that she/he has paid an entry fee.

14. System of play:

All players play a 13-round Swiss Tournament with the rate of play G-3'+2" (3 minutes for a game for a player, with an increment of 2 seconds per move). The system has been precisely described in the Tournament Regulations.

Remarks:

a. Prizes (both main and special) are not shared.

b. Only one special prize can be given to a player. If she/he wins more prizes, she/he receives the highest one. If the value of the prizes is equal, the player receives (if applicable) prizes in the following order:

c. All prizes are shown before taxes. According to the Polish law, all prizes below 760 PLN (ca. 190 €) are free of taxation; from higher prizes the income tax of 10% is deducted.

18. Special conditions:

a. Free accommodation (from the 16th of December 2010 till the 17th of December 2010) in the Ibis Stare Miasto Hotel (single rooms) for 10 highest rated players if registered not later than December, 1, 2010.

b. Free accommodation (from the 16th of December 2010 till the 17th of December 2010) in the Ibis Stare Miasto Hotel (double rooms) for 10 players seeded 11th-20th if registered not later than December, 1, 2010.

c. Free accommodation (from the 16th of December 2010 till the 17th of December 2010) in the Ibis Stare Miasto Hotel (a single room) for the highest rated woman if registered not later than December, 1, 2010.

d. Free accommodation (from the 16th of December 2010 till the 17th of December 2010) in the Ibis Stare Miasto Hotel (a double room) for the 2ndand 3rdhighest rated women if registered not later than December, 1, 2010.

19. Hotels:

a. The official tournament hotel is IBIS Stare Miasto Hotel, Warsaw (2 Muranowska street) - 5 km from the playing hall.

The organizer will provide free bus transfer from the IBIS Stare Miasto Hotel to the playing hall and back for the players staying in the hotel.

b. The second tournament hotel is Etap Hotel (1 Zagórna street) – 500 m from the playing hall.

c. The third tournament hotel is Atos Hotel (1, Mangalia street) – 5 km from the playing hall.

The organizer will provide free bus transfer from the Atos Hotel to the playing hall and back for the players staying in the hotel.

20. Insurance:

Players have to insure themselves for health and accident risk for the period of the tournament.
