8. Tournament groups and entry fees:

Tournament A is open for players rated 2000 (ELO) and higher.
Entry fee: 100 PLN or 25 €
players under 18 and over 60 years old: 80 PLN or 20 €

Tournament B is open for players rated below 2000.
Entry fee: 80 PLN or 20 €
players under 18 and over 60 years old: 60 PLN or 15 €

9. System of Play

9 rounds, Swiss System. The tournaments will count for the FIDE rating.

Group A: 90 min with an increment of 30 seconds per move
Group B: 90 min per player

Remarks:

Prizes are not divided.

Not more than 2 prizes can be given to a player. If he wins more prizes, he receives the 2 highest. If the value of the prizes is equal, the player receives (if applicable) prizes in the following order:

All prizes are shown before taxes, the income tax of 10% will be deducted. According to the Polish law all prizes below 760 PLN are free of taxation.

ATTENTION! Applications should be sent by 8th July 2007.
Applications submitted on the 9-15 of July – entry fees rise by 20 PLN (5 €)
Applications submitted on the 16-19 of July – entry fees rise by 40 PLN (10 €)
Applications submitted on the 20 of July – entry fees rise by 60 PLN (15 €)

Payment::

12. Verification

The list of the participants will be regularly updated and published on the website www.poloniachess.pl, and the final list will be posted up for the verification by the players on 20th July 2007 in the playing hall at 4 pm.
